The Fairfield 101 – Civic Academy will give Fairfield residents first-hand exposure to the inside of City departments and a chance to discuss current issues with community leaders. There are 25 spots available. Applications are due August 31st.

Solano EDC, in collaboration with the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN), is proud to offer Energy Efficiency Kits from Rising Sun Center for Opportunity. Residents can potentially receive a kit that contains the following:

● Energy-efficient light bulbs

● A smart power strip OR multiple smart energy plugs

● Draft-stopping outlet gaskets

● Efficient flow faucet aerators and shower head

● Information about the BayREN Home+ program, offering residents up to $5,000 in rebates for home energy improvements

Energy Efficiency kits are only available to those who have not already received this service within the last 5 years. Restrictions apply to nonresidential buildings and mobile homes. No income qualification is required..

This program is available to renters and homeowners living in single family homes, duplexes, fourplexes, and apartments. This service is available to those who have not already received a Green House Call or Energy Efficiency Kit within the last 5 years.
