Soccer Quebec General Manager Mathieu Chamberland is very pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Eullaffroy as Performance Manager. “Philippe will be a great asset for us. In addition to having extensive experience with high-level athletes, he was a winner wherever he went. We are convinced that he will be able to take over from Rudy Doliscat, who held these positions for twenty years.” Philippe Eullaffroy began his coaching career in France with the youth academies of Stade de Reims and Troyes AC. In 2005, he moved to Quebec and joined the McGill University Redmen where he coached the team for three years. During his time with the Redmen, he was named “Coach of the Year” in the RSEQ network during all three seasons. In 2009, he was named head coach of the Trois-Rivières Attak in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL). In his first season with the Attak, he led the club to their second national division title and won the CSL final. He again received the "Coach of the Year" award this time, in CSL. On March 23, 2010, Philippe was named head coach of the Montreal Impact Academy, before being named assistant coach of the Impact then managed by Marco Schällibaum. Then in 2014, he was entrusted with the management of the Impact academy and he also managed FC Montreal in the USL. Philippe remained with the Impact organization until 2020.
He will take office at Soccer Québec on August 10. Philippe can be reached by email at: peullaffroy@soccerquebec.org On the other hand, the management of Soccer Quebec has chosen to entrust the interim management of development to Sonia Denoncourt. Her international experience, his managerial skills and his leadership will ensure stabilization and great collaboration for the development team. This decision by management demonstrates the great confidence it has in the team in place to meet the challenges of the development sector.
