Thankfully, it never lost its Thai charm, with the museums, temples, food and, of course, people that make Bangkok both quintessentially Thai and culturally diverse. For those who prefer quiet moments should opt for a relaxing sauna. Friday, 10 November Cruising Today is your final day at sea. Use this time to indulge in the many amenities on board the ship. Thian Hock Keng, the “Temple of Heavenly Bliss,” is one of the oldest Chinese temples in Singapore. What was originally a makeshift altar became a full-blown temple in 1841, and it still shines today with red and black lacquer and gold gilt. The shrine honors Ma Po Cho, the Patron Goddess of Sailors, but it also gives a shout out to the Protector of Life, the God of War, the Goddess of Mercy and the Sun and Moon Gods through intricate carvings and statues. Sunday, 12 November Singapore & disembarkation Enjoy our last breakfast on board the Celebrity Millennium as your cruise holiday comes to an end, and wait until called to disembark. We then offer you an optionalal city tour whereby you shall explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by Padang, the Cricket Club, the historic Parliament House, the Supreme Court and City Hall. Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Visit the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown. Stop by a local handicraft center and observe craftsmen at work up-close. Proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanical Gardens, which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants. Your final stop at Little India will charm you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices, later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Singapore Airport in time for the Emirates flight EK355 which departs at 2100hrs. Monday, 13 November Flight Dubai – Malta Arrival in Dubai airport will be at 0100hrs where you will be in transit for your flight back to Malta departing at 07550hrs. Your expected time of arrival in Malta is 1325hrs.
