With eternity in view, Christ asks us: What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Therefore, Look to Jesus and believe that He saves you solely through His grace. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. Thus lay hold upon Christ and appropriate His merits - the remedy for sin. For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name. John 20:31.
