MOUNT VERNON PARKS FOUNDATION Mission Statement The mission of the Mount Vernon Parks Foundation is to encourage private or public donations of land or money for the acquisition, development and enhancement of accessible parks and recreation facilities in and around Mount Vernon and to support park related projects and administer charitable contributions for local programs.

Goals 1. Facilitate and advocate for Community groups that share our mission. 2. Create a sustainable and connected Community that encourages active, healthy lifestyles. 3. Promote awareness in the Community on what Parks and Recreation has to offer. 4. Assure a source of sustainable revenue to support the Foundation’s mission.
