Take a walk on the retro side and discover the genre "Mod-Tro" (Modern Retro). Local musician Smooth Tony originates this new musical genre to describe the music of his recently released CD titled “Sun Dappled Afternoon.”

With this album, he transports the listener back in time to the laid-back vibes of the 60s and early 70s. Reminiscent of the "lounge music" of this time, these eleven songs are light and airy, evoking the easy-going mood of a generation.

“I’ve always wanted to do an album of this kind of music,” Tony says, at home in his Mountainview Studio where he works his musical magic. “These songs are derived from styles such as Bossa Nova, Exotica, Space Age Pop, and more. It seemed like a natural thing to meld my own style into this retro music.”

Multi-talented Tony Lemmo, known as “Smooth” to friends and fans alike, writes, performs, and produces his own eclectic music. His previously released albums encompass electronic music, sweet vocal ballads, and jazz guitar selections.
