Round Necklines Crewneck Use mattress stitch (page 257) to sew the shoulder seams. Round Neck

With the right side facing and a 16"/40cm circular needle, begin at the left front neck edge. Pick up and knit stitches along the neckline as follows: Pick up one stitch for each bound-off stitch along the horizontal sections, and refer to the table above for the stitch-to-row ratio for vertical and curved sections, adjusting the total number, if necessary, to match the stitch multiple of the stitch pattern of your desired edge treatment. The instructions that follow refer to a K1P1 ribbed neckband worked over an even number of stitches. Join for circular knitting, placing a marker for the beginning of the round.
