SILTEC Open Trays S25, S26, S27, S28 and S29 are designed to enable fastening of tubing and cable with cable clamps (pg. 8 in Standard Open Trays Brochure; pgs. 6 - 8 in Image Brochure).
The use of cable clamps creates space between cables, improving heat dissipation and fulfilling sharply increasing demands on hygiene as it applies to undesirable bacterial growth, deposits of combustible dust, etc.
OPEN CABLE TRAYS
Bends, curves, tees, and crosses are easily made by cutting out portions of tray steel wires (pgs. 12, 13 & 15 in Standard Open Tray Brochure; pgs. 4, 7 & 8 in Image Brochure).
SILTEC Open Trays are also engineered for easy and inexpensive side mounting using Mounting Bracket S45 or Mount S14.

SILTEC Compact Cable Trays are especially designed for machine builders. Trays S115, S116 and S125 - S133 range in width between 37 - 320 mm (1.5 - 12.6") while low sides are only 11 - 36 mm (0.4 - 1.4") tall. Steel wire diameter ranges between 3 - 5 mm (0.1 - 0.2"). With the exception of tray S125, all these trays are made with 2 bottom wires.
Mounting is normally done with screwed wall mounts, either consoles S65 - 68 or brackets S45, S45M, S145, S145M, S180 & S181, & S147 with bendable tongues, or onto equipment or existing structures using Polypropylene mounts S14, S14M & S330, splice plates S40B and S41B, pipe mounts S160 - S164 and aforementioned mounts.

SILTEC Open Cable Trays S30M-X, S30-X, S35-X and S36-X with C-Profile, have sides that are bent in at the top. With their slightly closed design, these trays prevent cables from sliding out, making them a suitable alternative to Locking Trays S20 - S123. Steel wire diameters are 4 and 5 mm (0.15” - 0.2").
Mounting is normally done with Weld Brackets S52 & S63, or Screwed Angle Brackets S65 - S68, Shelf Brackets S279S280 and Mounting Brackets S153 - S154, S45, S45M, S145M, S80 - S81 & S180 - S181 with bendable tongues. SILTEC Heavy Duty Cable Trays S235 - S240 are especially designed for very heavy loads over spans up to 6000 mm (20 feet). Width ranges between 100 - 600 mm (4 - 24") while sides are all 100 mm (4") tall. Steel wire diameter is 5 mm (0.2").
The sides of these trays are reinforced with a 5 mm (0.2") steel wire ran in a zig-zag pattern to prevent twisting and bending. This is further supported by the double steel wires at tray bottom and along top of the sides. Mounting is normally done with shelf brackets S275 - S280 or center mounts S256 - S260, fastened to ceiling hanger S271 or onto walls or existing structures.

SILTEC Mounting Bracket S45 is designed to enable horizontal as well as vertical installation of trays S20 through S35.
S45 has two oblong intersecting holes, each 7 x 12 mm (0.3” x 0.5”) for securing to wall, ceiling hanger or other construction.
After the cable tray has been inserted into the bracket, it is locked into place by bending over tongues. It can be unlocked again in case of installation revisions.
MOUNTING BRACKET - S45
SILTEC Mounting Bracket S45 is made of 2 mm (0.08”) steel plate and has a cut-out in the back for minimized contact surface and improved hygiene. Better hygiene is also achieved with a bracket design that uses a minimum of horizontal surfaces.
Hygienic mounting brackets are available for all trays (see Data Sheets 3:3 and 3:4).

SILTEC Angle Consoles S65 - S68 are made of 2 mm (0.08”) steel plate. The end flange has two oblong holes, 10 x 15 mm (0.4” x 0.6”) for fastening of the console to wall, ceiling hangers or other construction.
Oblong holes at top of the console for mounting of the cable tray allow for adjustments of tray position to make up for uneven mounting surfaces.
ANGLE BRACKETS
Consoles are designed for roughly 30 - 35 mm (1.2” – 1.4”) clearance between inside of tray and wall, with room for adjustments.
Cable tray is secured to console using either two S90 Bolt Kits or two S90H J-Bolt Kits together with one S87 Splice Bracket.

SILTEC Ceiling Hanger S71 made of acid-resistant 316 stainless steel, can be extended 1000 mm (39.4”) using Extender S72, increasing distance A to 1450 mm (57.1”).
Top flange tilts 45 degrees (Y) to each side and tilting position is fixed with a bolt.
