103 FRESHWATER · BABREL RODS
Beastmaster and Barbel are made for each other, such is the reputation of both for uncompromising strength. If you’re already a fan of Beastmaster rods from other genres of the sport, or if you can’t quite justify the price tag of our Antares Barbel rods, you’ll not be disappointed with the Beastmaster. Both the Classic and Power versions of the Beastmaster Concept Barbel have the same ultra-versatile nine section configuration as their costlier kin, meaning up to six actions in one package. Specifications include XT60 + Biofibre blanks, Shimano SiC SS guides and reel seat, SDR, cork and EVA handles plus nylon rod bag.
Available in 2 different versions the Catana Barbel range offers great quality for a very reasonable price, and has an action to suit a wide range of situations from small to large powerful rivers. The Classic version has a 1.5lb Avon top and a quivertip top with 2 interchangeable tips. The Power version has a 1.75lb Avon top and a quivertip top with 2 interchangeable tips.
Supplied in two 12ft versions – Classic and Power – the Vengeance Barbel is supplied with a traditional Avon-style top section plus a second carrier with three different strength quivertips. Constructed from XT30 carbon fitted with Shimano Hardlite guides and reel seat, the classic has a 1.5lb test curve with the Power version rated at 1.75lb.
