Caranx Kaibutsu Kaibutsu is the translation of Giant Trevally, so what better name for a rod designed to fish for one of the most legendary fish in the world. The Caranx AX is a redesigned version of the best selling original much loved by GT anglers. The same strength and reliability is incorporated in the design thanks to the HPC400 carbon blank with added Biofibre, but it now has a slightly improved action and is fitted with an ALPS reel seat and Fuji Alconite guides.
