GAME TYPE LJ Light Jigging Light Jigging is a recent technique originating in Japan. It is a variant of regular jigging, but this category includes light vertical fishing where the jig is replaced by a small lure which often represents a kind of squid - the two most popular being Inchiku and Madai Jigs. A great thing about this technique is that it works all year long for a wide range of species.
GAME TYPE LJ S632R & B632R Two versions of the same blank made for spinning and baitcasting reels. The rods have a slow taper that will cater for a variety of light jigging techniques. Featuring Shimano’s CI4 Perfection reel seats, these rods are extremely light and perfectly balanced, making them comfortable to hold and use for extended periods. With the ability to cater for jigs up to 150g in weight, they pack enough sensitivity to feel everything, while retaining power in the blank to land fish of almost any size you are likely to encounter. Both models are rated for jigs up to 150g. If you do a mixture of vertical jigging and casting/jerking the spinning model will increase your distance casting and make your life easier when jerking. However if you prefer vertical jigging and its thousands variations, the baitcasting model will allow you to ‘feel’ much more lure action than the spinning model because of the direct contact with the line and you will immediately know when you have reached the bottom. This makes it easier to control easily the depth of your jig.
