Chad A. Veitch, 31, of Oregon, was issued a city citation at 6:47 p.m. for violating the city ordinance for allowing grass to be more than six inches. This violation occurred in the 200 block of Jefferson Street.
Nov. 13
Steven D. Murphy, 47, of Dixon, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. for driving while license revoked. Murphy also had a Winnebago County warrant for failure to appear and a Rockford Police Department warrant for failure to appear; Murphy was issued citations for operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle; Murphy was also charged with improper container as a driver. Murphy was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
Nov. 15
At 1:33 p.m., police took one 14-year-old female juvenile, Mt. Morris, into limited custody for the offense of battery. The juvenile was released into her parent’s custody with a referral to the Ogle County State’s Attorney’s Office/Juvenile Probation for diversion or informal services requested, if found to be appropriate. This violation occurred at Oregon High School, 210 S. 10th Street.
Jovannie Elizondo, 23, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was arrested at 2:59 a.m. for a driving while license suspended and an outstanding Marion County, Indiana warrant for failure to remain at the scene of an accident with injury. Elizondo was also issued citations for speeding, 40 mph in a 30 mph zone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Elizondo was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street.
Nov. 17
At 11:56 a.m., police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of N. 6th and Monroe Streets involving a 2011 Mazda driven by Monique N. Lindell, 42, of Oregon, and a 2011 Jeep driven by Grace Reimer, 75, of Oregon. Lindell was issued a citation for failure to yield at a yield intersection.
At 3:20 p.m., police took one 13-year-old female juvenile, Mt. Morris, into limited custody for the offense of battery and one 13-year-old male juvenile, Mt. Morris, into limited custody for the offense of battery. Both juveniles were referred to the Ogle County State’s Attorney’s Office/Juvenile Probation for diversion or informal services requested, if found to be appropriate. These violations occurred at Oregon High School, 210 S. 10th Street.

Dominique I. Perez, 35, of Rockford, was issued a citation at 9:49 p.m. for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
Nov. 20
Jimmy L. Ollie, Jr., 36, of Chicago, was issued a citation at 2:08 a.m. for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of S. 7th and Gale Streets.
Wilmer G. Vasquez-Ramos, 33, of Rockford, was issued citations at 3:43 a.m. for speeding, 47 mph in a 30 mph zone, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
Skylar P. Carlson, 23, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 9:37 p.m. for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the N. Jones Terrace and E. Washington Street intersection.
Fifteen parking citations and 21 verbal warnings were issued Nov. 7 - Nov. 20.
