Caring House – a nonprofit that provides Duke Cancer Institute

patients with affordable housing, a healing environment, and a positive and supportive community – hosted its annual benefit gala at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club on Jan. 27. More than 400 guests enjoyed dinner, heard from nearly a dozen guest speakers, including Caring House Executive Director Sasha Zarzour and former Caring House guests Nancy Thompson and Larry Thompson, and participated in a live auction and dancing at the end of the evening.
