The 18th annual Reindeer Run 5K had 576 runners finish the race on Dec. 10 at the Central Carolina Community College campus in Pittsboro. Registration fees benefited the Chatham County Partnership for Children, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children. The USA Track & Field-certified course saw the fastest runners, while some of the youngest joggers were accompanied by the red-nosed reindeer himself during Rudolph’s Fun Run, a ¾-mile trail.
