2021 ANNUAL MEETING
1 2021 Durham Chamber Chair Adri Maisonet-Morales.
The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce presented its 2021 Annual Meeting from DPAC’s stage on Feb. 11. More than 350 people tuned into the virtual event to hear from business owners, stakeholders, and community and civic leaders. Chamber President and CEO Geoff Durham discussed the impact of COVID-19 on our community, specifically the health and wealth disparities across the nation, and how the Chamber pivoted to help businesses both big and small. Outgoing Board Chair and Duke Regional Hospital President Katie Galbraith followed Durham with reflections on 2020 and shared her thanks to frontline workers and small businesses, especially restaurants, for their “spirit of service.” Adri Maisonet-Morales, vice president of enterprise learning and development at Blue University for BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina, was named the 2021 Durham Chamber Chair.
