You’ve probably heard travelers say “I need a vacation f rom my vacat ion” once t hey ’ve ret u r ned home f rom being on the road. You may even be one of these travelers yourself ! A nd while some love a jam-packed it inerar y, others might feel over whelmed by it all and instead yearn for a more rela xed pace. It makes perfect sense then why “slow travel” is a concept being wholeheartedly adopted by many travelers. Cont rar y to what some may assume, slow t ravel isn’t a luxur y afforded only to those who can manage to take more time off and spend more funds to travel. Rather, it’s a focus on the time and funds travelers do already have to enrich the experience by allow ing them to truly breathe in their surroundings through a greater awareness of an experience, destination, communit y or culture.
