The Green Drake The Green Drake (Ephemera danica) is one of the exci ng flies for European fly fishermen. In the UK they hatch in what is known as Duers Fortnight, a mythical period when the mayfly is prevelant on English Chalkstreams and every cast is supposed to catch a fish. In Ireland there are mes when loughs are covered with mayfly. Through Europe this fly creates wild periods for us. Here Joachim John Wallin shows us the natural and his deadly match for the Green Drake.
