Pleasant, SC; www.patriotspoint.org) ... The USCG Barque Eagle has resumed cadet training and is currently underway across the Atlantic. The ship is visiting the Azores in May and Iceland in June, before heading back west across the Atlantic with a stop in Bermuda. The ship will be open for tours at all port stops, and visitors can get onboard in July and August when the ship calls at New London, Connecticut; Newport, Rhode Island; and Portland, Maine. You can follow the ship and view specific dates at www.uscga.edu/ eagle. The historic three-masted barque is commanded by CAPT Michael A. Turdo, a 1997 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy.
