The Scout Guide New Orleans Volume 9

s r o Edit r e t t e L Whew, what a year we have had New Orleans! On that note, I would like to dedicate the 9th annual volume of The Scout Guide New Orleans to all of the local business owners who forged through 2020 by pivoting business models, volunteering for community causes, and helping neighbors in greater need. You are all my inspiration and the reason that I started this business spotlighting all things local. Like every year, it is my hope that this guide inspires discovery , but unlike most years, it is also my wish that this guide fosters a renewed appreciation for our great city and its people. After almost a year of changes and transitions, I am proud to say that the passion and commitment within this collective of small businesses is stronger than ever. They are ready to host and serve you, but most of all, they are ready to see you and catch up. And, there’s a lot to catch up on here. Exciting things continue to happen in New Orleans. In these pages, you’ll learn about members of our community who have opened new businesses, started manufacturing goods, and launched custom experiences just for you. I invite you to follow along here, and online, as I share stories about the people and places that make this city shine. Sure, it’s been quite a year, but one that will only make us stronger. Please remember that every time we cross the threshold of a local business, we not only experience something that is uniquely New Orleans, but we’re contributing to the vitality of our thriving home. Live. Love. Local.
