Schulich's Master of Health Industry Administration (MHIA) prepares future healthcare leaders with the management expertise, strategic perspective, and industry knowledge needed to drive innovation and improve outcomes across the public and private healthcare sectors. The Master of Health Industry Administration (MHIA) is a specialized program offered in full-time (12 months) and part-time (24 months) formats. Combining Schulich's strengths in management education with specialized healthcare expertise, the MHIA emphasizes strategic leadership, healthcare systems, quality improvement, and value creation. Through an applied curriculum, strong industry and alumni connections, and accreditation by the Canadian College of Health Leaders, graduates are well positioned for leadership roles across the healthcare sector and to pursue the Canadian Health Executive (CHE) designation.

Digital Health: Explore how digital technologies are transforming healthcare delivery, patient experience, and system performance. Quality & Value in Healthcare: Learn how healthcare organizations measure performance, improve quality, and create value for patients and stakeholders. Krembil Centre for Health Management and Leadership: The MHIA gives students access to health-sector thought leadership, industry engagement, scholarships, events, and applied learning opportunities connected to real challenges facing healthcare organizations.
PROGRAM LENGTH FT: 12 months (Sept) PT: 24 months (Sept) EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING Strategy Consulting Study Apply classroom learning to a real healthcare challenge through a consulting-focused project. Students step into the role of strategy consultants, working directly with real-world healthcare organizations to solve pressing business challenges. Collaborating in teams, students analyze complex problems, apply frameworks and insights gained in the classroom, and deliver impactful, actionable recommendations to senior leaders. Funded Internship Opportunities Gain valuable industry experience through competitive, fully funded internships with leading healthcare organizations, applying classroom learning while expanding your professional network.
