n Auburn University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Weeks has worked in engineering since his teens, starting as a draftsman in his father’s firm. At age 32, he became an owner in an engineering firm in Savannah with a branch office in Mount Pleasant. In 2008, he and a colleague created DWG Inc. His greatest accomplishment, he says, is creating an award-winning business with a few employees, growing it 400%, and converting it to a 100% employee-owned company. The company provides mechanical and electrical engineering services to K-12 schools in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties as well as colleges, universities and hospitals in coastal South Carolina and has received numerous statewide and

regional design awards. Weeks is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer, Registered Professional Fire Protection Engineer and Certified Commissioning Authority.

ranham, a University of South Carolina graduate, began his career as an electrical engineer-in-training at Stevens & Wilkinson, now SSOE | Stevens & Wilkinson, in 1989. Shortly after becoming a registered PE in South Carolina in 1995, he was promoted to engineering department manager and principal, overseeing the electrical, mechanical, civil and structural engineering departments in the firm’s Columbia office. Major projects and accomplishments include the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, Clemson University’s Core Campus, MUSC’s James E. Clyburn Research Center, the S.C. State House Restoration and Renovation, Columbia Museum of Art adaptive reuse, Township Auditorium renovation, and Florence County Judicial Center. A LEED Accredited Professional, he is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers.
