Developed by Bilge Jacob Christiansen and Ebbe Overgaard Fuglsang back in 2015, the electrical RG2 gripper has quickly made an impact on the emerging global market of collaborative robots, also called ‘cobots’. Last year, On Robot received a large investment from Vækstfonden and a group of leaders within the robot industry including Enrico Krog Iversen, former director of Universal Robots, and Thomas Visti Jensen, CEO at Mobile Industrial Robots ApS (MIR). The company has been expanding rapidly ever since, and its new technology is being picked up by companies and distributors around the world.
