“It showed me how much difference just a few quiet minutes can make,” says Thomassen. “I wanted to bring that feeling into something we already do every day – skincare.” Based by the tranquil lake Semsvannet in Asker, Thomassen develops and hand-

crafts White Tara’s natural skincare in small batches using carefully selected ingredients. From here, she invites customers to slow down and reconnect with themselves through simple, mindful rituals. The brand’s name dates back to a journey to Tibet in 2004, where Thomassen discovered the symbolism of White Tara, representing compassion, purity, vitality and protection. “Those values stayed with me and have become a kind of compass for everything I create.” White Tara launched less than a year ago and remains intentionally small because it allows Thomassen to oversee every detail herself. sanctuary, a feeling she wishes to share with her customers, evident in the aptly named Sanctum, White Tara’s signature facial oil. Meaning ‘a quiet place’ in Latin, the product is designed to turn skincare into a moment of presence, whether as part of a morning ritual or while applying lip balm during a busy commute. whitetara.no Instagram: @whitetara.no
