“You can spend the whole day on water and live in harmony with nature. Go for a refreshing swim in the morning and explore the surroundings on a sup-board in the afternoon, enjoy a sundowner on the terrace in the evening. A houseboat means active holidays and recreation at the same time,” advises Stefan Bode, director and founder of Fehmarn-based STERN Hausboot GmbH. It’s something that he knows well, as he and his team have been building holiday houseboats for years.
„Man kann den gesamten Tag auf dem Wasser verbringen, lebt im Einklang mit der Natur. Gleich Morgens eine erfrischende Runde schwimmen, Nachmittags mit dem Sup-Board die Umgebung erkunden und am Abend der gemeinsame Sundowner auf der Terrasse. Ein Hausboot bietet aktive Erholung pur“, weiß Stefan Bode, Geschäftsführer und Gründer der auf Fehmarn ansässigen STERN Hausboot GmbH. Er und sein Team bauen seit Jahren Ferienhausboote.
He explains: “In a houseboat only the outer walls are load-bearing. The future owners can therefore let their imaginations run free. It is this kind of freedom they highly appreciate.”
Er erklärt: „Bei einem Hausboot sind ja nur die Außenwände tragend. Die zukünftigen Eigentümer können also beim Innenausbau ihrer Phantasie fast freien Lauf lassen. Auch diese Freiheit wissen sie sehr zu schätzen.”
