‘Good taste is anything but boring’ An evening in the gourmet restaurant EssZimmer by Käfer, in Munich’s BMW Welt, promises to be a special experience that combines indulgence, modern architecture and great well-being. High up in a modern glass dome in the BMW Welt, the restaurant EssZimmer by Käfer impresses with its very own feel-good atmosphere which combines elegant luxury and cosiness through well thought-out design, warm colours, high-quality interior design details and numerous personal memorabilia. “This location is incomparable,” smiles Bobby Bräuer, top chef and chef de cuisine in restaurant EssZimmer, which has been awarded two Michelin stars and 18 Gault Millau points. Bräuer explains: “Our service team constantly seeks to advise our guests in a competent, but never old-fashioned, stiff manner, so that they can hopefully feel entirely comfortable. After all, that’s what matters; I never ask my guests whether the food was tasty, but rather whether they had a nice evening.” In a culinary sense, guests can look forward to surprising combinations with Bobby Bräuer’s special signature, and European dishes that are interpreted in a modern fashion. Bobby Bräuer loves to use new flavours, to play with new flavour combinations and to emphasise the main product in constantly new ways. “In the end, however, the taste and not the experiment is the most important factor. And good taste is anything but boring,” explains Bräuer, and adds: “My young team and I aim towards constant progress, while always staying true to ‘Bobby Bräuer’.
