SAGE restaurant nestles right on the riverbanks of the Spree in Berlin-Kreuzberg and is one of the trendiest spots with cult status that Berlin currently has on offer. It’s a restaurant, beach bar, event venue and cultural location all in one. Effortlessly, it strikes a balance between casual appearance, down-to-earth cuisine, a sophisticated atmosphere and modern creations. When you enter the restaurant, you can immediately feel its special atmosphere. People from all over the world work, eat, drink and celebrate here. Cool lounge areas and flexible seating set-ups for all kinds of groups have been installed in the former industrial building. New arty design highlights and installations set the stage even further.
Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre. Hier arbeiten, essen, trinken und feiern Menschen aus allen Ecken der Welt. Ins frühere Industriegebäude wurden lässige Lounge-Bereiche und flexible Sitzgelegenheiten für Gruppen aller Art installiert und mit neuen, künstlerischen Design-Akzenten und Installationen in Szene gesetzt.
Exposed brick wall meets Berliner design and charming architecture. Everything is done skilfully without ever trying too hard. A real treat for the eyes, as well as for all of the other senses. The outstanding quality of the food also brings gourmets to the city’s on-trend location and, rest assured, the wine selection deserves just as much attention as the food. From spring to autumn, various events are held at the urban beach bar: from open-air happenings to cinema, fashion shows and raves. Simply a true cultural hotspot in Berlin.
