What makes the restaurant so special? “It’s simple: extraordinary meat and wine all within the unique ambiance of an old carpenter’s workshop. Meat enthusiasts, for example, will be excited by our selection of highly exclusive Wagyu- or Kobe beef – a stand-out combination in Zurich!"
Was macht das Restaurant so besonders? „Ganz einfach: Fleisch- und Weingenuss auf höchstem Niveau im besonderen Ambiente einer ehemaligen Tischlerei. Fleischconnaisseurs bieten wir beispielsweise hochexklusives Wagyu - bzw. Kobefleisch an. Das ist in dieser Kombination einzigartig in Zürich.“
The in-house experts from Smith and Smith Wine company take care of the selection of organic and natural wines from Switzerland and Europe. They operate their own wine shop and dedicated strong room on the restaurant’s premises, where one can find dozens of wine rarities from around the world.
Um die Auswahl der Bio- bzw. Naturweine aus der Schweiz und Europa kümmern sich die Experten der Smith and Smith Wine Company, die im selben Haus einen Weinshop mit eigenem Strong Room betreiben, in dem man dutzende Weinraritäten aus der ganzen Welt findet.
“The restaurant SMITH and de LUMA is a lively place,” Gerber adds. “Customers and guests can purchase excellent wines and exclusive meat specialities in our wine shop. Or they can immerse themselves in the culinary delights of our cookery courses and wine tasting sessions.
