A liqueur full of personality Ein Likör voller Persönlichkeit The ginger liqueur Ingwerer and the ginger-gin liqueur Gingwerer impress with their intense flavours and are as unique as their Swiss inventor Philip Jenzer and his business partner Simon Borchardt.
Der Ingwerlikör Ingwerer und der Ingwer-Ginlikör Gingwerer überzeugen nicht nur mit einem intensiven Geschmackserlebnis, sondern sind genauso individuell wie deren Schweizer Erfinder Philip Jenzer und sein Geschäftspartner Simon Borchardt.
The ginger liqueur was initially made to revive one’s spirits after an icy bath in the Aare. Following that goal with full dedication, Philip Jenzer – Peppe, for short – kept experimenting until he eventually found that full flavour the Ingwerer is now known for.
Der Ingwerlikör war ursprünglich dazu gedacht, die Lebensgeister nach einem winterlichen Aare-Bad neu zu wecken. Mit diesem Ziel experimentierte Philip Jenzer - kurz Peppe - bis er den vollmundigen Geschmack des Ingwerers fand.
“When I tried the liqueur back in 2013, I became one of the Ingwerer’s first fans,” Simon Borchardt remembers. “But I was shocked to hear that Philip wanted to stop the production. That’s why I offered to come on-board.”
„Als ich 2013 den ersten Schluck probieren durfte, wurde ich ein Ingwerer-Fan der ersten Stunde“, erzählt Simon Borchardt. „Ich erschrak, als Philip die Produktion einstellen wollte. Deshalb bot ich an zusammen den Ingwerer zu produzieren.“
Since then, the duo has been on a clear road to success. Only fresh, organic ingredients are used in the production of the liqueurs – and strictly without any powdered or replacement products. “Everything is handmade. We take the necessary time, concentration and focus, and in my opinion, you can taste that,”says Jenzer.
Seitdem ist das Duo auf der Erfolgsspur. Es werden nur frische Bioprodukte ohne Pulver- und Ersatzprodukte verarbeitet. „Bei uns ist alles handgemacht mit genug Zeit, Konzentration und Fokussierung. Dies ist aus meiner Sicht definitiv im Ingwerer und Gingwerer spürbar“, so Jenzer.
