The unique location, right above the Gasteinertal, is one of the hotel’s greatest assets. From here, states co-owner Vera Seer, the 365° panoramic view resembles what she considers a glance at eternity. History and family matter DAS.GOLDBERG is celebrating its fiveyear anniversary this July. However, the Seer family have been in the hotel business since 1981, when Katharina and Peter Seer bought the Pyrkerhöhe farm and restaurant and expanded it by 24 rooms. The hotel was eventually taken over by son Georg and his wife Vera, whose great goal of a complete modernisation was realised roughly ten years later.
