In 1996, Bettina Wiesinger took over her grandmother’s hotel from her parents. With a lot of passion and dedication, she and her husband Mark are the engine behind the hotel’s continuous success. What makes the hotel so special is its location right at the heart of Salzburg, paired with its relaxing flair. Guests can enjoy being in the city centre but, equally, they can unwind in the hotel’s secret garden, on the shady terrace or on the rooftop-spa.

The hotel’s 55 rooms are tastefully designed and decorated by Bettina’s husband Mark, who is an interior-designer, and showcase that great sense for detail which runs throughout the house. The style is subtle and timeless, bright and welcoming.

The sauna and steam bath help the muscles to loosen up, and the generously sized lounge area with great books to choose from, is the perfect spot in which to unwind. The spa is connected to a scenic sun terrace where guests can get some fresh air and enjoy the view over the Kapuziner mountain. Individual massages can be booked as well, either in advance or on the day. The colourful garden with its gentle fountain, a lot of lush green and vibrant flowers, is a real gem of an experience.
