The five-star children‘s paradise at Lake Maggiore Situated at Lake Maggiore’s Swiss side, one can find the multi award-winning, five-star Campofelice Camping Village. Here, in magnificent surroundings, visitors can look forward to a private, 400-metre-long sandy beach and the immediate proximity to the Verzasca river’s nature reserve. As well as being a paradise for adults, it also has a lot on offer for the little ones. “Our family camping site delivers everything for an unforgettable vacation,” smiles Simone Patelli, vice director of Campofelice Camping Village. Thanks to its location, Campofelice Camping Village is not only the perfect starting point for hikes, bike tours or the exploration of the surroundings, but also offers a great deal of comfort. With 15 hectares, Campofelice is the largest campsite at Lake Maggiore and impresses with a boat harbour, a shop, a great restaurant and 719 comfortable, spacious pitches. All are equipped with electricity and free Wi-Fi, and partly comprise of direct drinking and waste water connections. wood-igloo tubes, eight rental flats, a châlet that is situated directly at the lake and three holiday apartments, so that families without camper vans or tents can also experience vacation on a campsite. “After all, a camping holiday offers contact with nature in a relaxed atmosphere. Furthermore, campsite life also facilitates meeting other guests,” explains Patelli the camping holiday’s advantages. A top-class children’s paradise A comprehensive entertainment programme with diverse sports activities and animation is available so that children can also experience an unforgettable holiday. How about children’s dancing, the circus school, an art course or the bouncy castle? Two new playgrounds, the family pool,
the baby room in the sanitary facilities, the sandy beach and the Aqua Park for children with its baby pool are true highlights. “We also place great importance on safety. That’s why a paediatrician is on site here during high season and night guards guarantee guests’ security and peace,” Patelli says. Of course, a diverse entertainment programme is also on offer for adults. For example, the large sports area with crosscountry track, fitness zone, football field, ping-pong tables, tennis courts, beach volleyball court, miniature golf, BMX track, several water sport opportunities or the Aqua Park, gives everyone the opportunity to indulge in their favourite sport. And as if this were not already enough, Campofelice Camping Village will get extended by a pool and wellness area with over 500 square metres of water this summer. The pool landscape will feature a 25-metrelong swimming pool, a relaxation basin with hydrotherapy chairs, a children’s pool, a wellness area, fitness room and a bar.
