in tailored solutions that meet people’s needs while respecting the architectural context. An example of this philosophy is the restoration of the Münchner Stadtmuseum (Munich City Museum). Here, historical elements are preserved while careful additions and innovative design elements create a space accessible to the public, even outside of opening hours, without consumption or use obligations. A covered inner courtyard serves as the new museum lobby, seamlessly connecting the historic building to the city.
