Whether guests are looking for leisurely family runs or exciting freeride routes, the Zillertal has plenty to offer with its four large ski areas. “The ski area Hochzillertal-HochfügenSpieljoch, for example, is particularly attractive for families and beginners,” says Felder. “Our Zillertal Arena is known for plenty of action and perfect sunny slopes. Mountopolis, the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen World of Adventure, in Mayrhofen offers the perfect mix of fun, action and enjoyment on the Mount Penken and Mount Ahorn mountains, while the Skiand Glacier World Zillertal 3000 guarantees year-round snow fun on the Hintertux Glacier. There really is something for everyone.”
The Zillertal Super Ski Pass is the perfect way to enjoy skiing, giving skiers access to all 548 kilometres of slopes, 180 state-of-theart lifts and (almost) all public transport. This makes it easy to switch between Zillertal ski areas. “This allows our guests to enjoy the best panoramic views and slopes in comfort. Zillertal means freedom on skis!”

"The altitude of up to 3,250 metres makes the Zillertal a true skiing paradise. Even on sunny spring days, skiing conditions are perfect thanks to the latest technology,” says Ronald Felder from Zillertal Tourismus. This makes the Zillertal the perfect place for a first-class skiing experience for everyone!
A perfect ski day in the Zillertal starts early: the first lift opens at 7:30am! The quiet morning hours, when the snow crunches under your skis and the slopes glisten in the light of the rising sun, are simply magical. At lunchtime, one of the 80 ski huts invites skiers in for a snack – how about a hot chocolate or a cool wheat beer from the local Zillertal Bier brewery? Enjoy more skiing in the afternoon before ending the day with an atmospheric descent into the valley. In the evening, relax in a sauna or the Erlebnistherme Zillertal.
