Mike explains. "It's about how you stage it, how you create the atmosphere, architecture and setup. What's the narrative thread? What's the overall dramaturgy? Only when all these elements align does a vacant space transform into a venue where people are the focal point." Thomas adds: "It may sound trivial, but a guiding principle for us over the years has been: There's no such thing as impossible. We wish people would think more in terms of possibilities rather than just problems. Just go for it!" The duo remains ever-curious and open to change. "During the pandemic, we were the first in Germany to render our entire building in 3-D," Mike says. "You navigated through Kraftwerk with avatars, replaying events. I believe this demonstrates how we embrace new concepts, especially those from the digital realm."

Thanks to the visionary drive of Thomas Wenger and Mike Wutta, the once derelict Kraftwerk has become one of Germany's top event locations. The duo, who founded the successful full-service agency Trend Factory in 1996, has established this expansive venue, covering over 3,200 square meters, for both intimate and large-scale events, accommodating up to 4,000 guests.
