For those of us who might find a gallery visit a little daunting, mianki.Gallery is the perfect place to start. "My goal is to assist both the experienced and the inexperienced gallery visitor in finding their personal connection to art, to the artists and also to individual works," Herrmann says with a smile. "Through my conversations with gallery visitors, I want to reduce any apprehensions and show how much joy and added value art can bring to your life."

A particular highlight of the mianki.Gallery is its diverse program. "We represent 16 talented artists," Herrmann emphasises. The focus is on artists who work with special and extraordinary materials, such as leaves, wax or light, or who use specific techniques. "In addition to art that we can see, there are also works that we can literally 'sniff out' with our sense of smell," he reveals.
program with five additional solo exhibitions per year. Currently, the impressive exhibition Between by Tina Heuter is on display, which will run until 20 January. "At the core of Tina Heuter's work is the human being. For over 20 years, the artist has been working on forms of expression that capture our existence, rediscovering the age-old theme of sculpture time and again: humans as acrobats, angels, in everyday life, with animals or as classic statues," Herrmann tells us about the artist who works with paper, concrete and bronze.

"My great love for art, my first purchases of artworks, and the personal contact with many artists made me dream of turning this passion into my profession," gallery owner Andreas Herrmann says. "Founding the gallery was the logical next step." Since 2008, his mianki.Gallery, located in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg on Kalckreuthstraße, has been enchanting visitors with its innovative concept.
With its warm and inviting atmosphere, the mianki.Gallery welcomes every guest and looks forward to engaging dialogues - and, of course, to a cup of coffee together.
