DONAUINSELFEST, DANUBE ISLAND, VIENNA (3 – 5 JULY) Held on Vienna’s famous Danube Island, the Donauinselfest is considered one of the world’s largest free open-air festivals, attracting millions of visitors every year. Spanning several kilometres along the river, the festival combines live music, cabaret, sports, food and cultural programming across numerous stages and themed areas, turning the Austrian capital into a vibrant summer celebration. www.donauinselfest.at

CALIENTE! FESTIVAL, ZURICH (3 – 5 JULY) Bringing an authentic Latin American atmosphere to the heart of Zurich, Caliente! is one of Europe’s largest Latin festivals. Held at the city’s Kasernenareal, the three-day celebration combines live music, DJs, dance performances, tropical food and colourful street culture, transforming the neighbourhood into a lively summer barrio filled with Latin flair. www.caliente.ch
