the Bayreuth Festival. This milestone commemorates the first performance in 1876 and honours the long-standing tradition of this unique opera festival. Visitors can look forward to special productions as well as a wide-ranging accompanying programme with exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events across the city and surrounding region. Beyond this anniversary, Bayreuth continues to offer a rich calendar of events, from family-friendly activities to music and cultural festivals. Traditional celebrations ensure a lively atmosphere in every season, while summer brings concerts, regional markets, and open-air events.
