Sandra Evarrs

Sandra Evarrs, PhD is a licensed child psychologist and Clinical Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a member of the UNC School of Education, she specializes in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and anxiety and trauma-related disorders. Her work bridges psychology, special education, and disability studies, with a focus on meaningful inclusion and systemic support for children and families. Dr. Evarrs is also a dedicated disability awareness advocate and longtime Special Olympics volunteer. Through teaching, mentorship, research, and community engagement, she remains committed to advancing inclusive education, strengthening clinical practice, and empowering the next generation of educators and mental health professionals.
