Children’s Pool 850 Coast Blvd., end of Jenner St. 619-221-8899 This small, picturesque beach area is partially protected by a sea wall and staffed by San Diego lifeguards, making it an ideal hangout for young families. The beach has become a popular viewing area for seals and sea lions, though it is closed during pupping season, Dec. 15-May 15. Pets are not allowed at the children’s pool.
