everyone’s already talking about back to school. Have no fear, there are plenty of days left to enjoy summer vacation. Need some ideas? Here are 22 days of summer fun that will help your family end the season with a bang. But don’t fill your days from sun up to sun down—it’s called summer “break” for a reason!

Mad Science Mondays

Head to Children’s Nature Retreat in Alpine or Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista to learn about animals and their habitats, conservation and our local environment.

Create your own sensory table out of an old coffee table. Repaint, cut a hole for a large bin and add water, sand or rice.

Support a local business: Try new foods at a farmers market or eat at one of the many new restaurants in town.
