A Journey through Art, Architecture, and Design As a Chartered Architect, RIBA Chartered Member, and a passionate Artist based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, my work embodies a unique confluence of art, architecture, and design. Through my initiative, Art'o'San Studio, I endeavor to create mixed-media digital art that captures the vibrant essence of Sri Lanka and the wider world. My pieces are a harmonious blend of traditional painting techniques and innovative digital tools, resulting in semi-abstract compositions that are rich in symbolism and layered with meaning. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and diverse cultures, the vivid colors and intriguing textures of my artwork are designed to stir curiosity and evoke a sense of wonder in the viewer. At Art'o'San Studio, every custom-commissioned piece is a conduit for a meaningful and personal connection between the collector and the artist. My Ceylon series, in particular, is a heartfelt tribute to the Sri Lankan diaspora across the globe. My artistic journey is a continuous exploration of thought-provoking and evocative expressions, where each piece of art becomes a conversation starter in its space. As I continue to traverse the realms of art, architecture, and design, my goal remains to invite viewers into a world where symbolism, personal narratives, and cultural diversity coalesce into compelling visual stories. In the spirit of exploration and collaboration, I am wholeheartedly open to partnering with professionals from various fields. With a vision to interlink design, fashion, and food into a single space, I am excited to embark on endeavors that bring these diverse elements together. It is my passionate belief that in the convergence of these creative fields, we can create experiences that are not only visually stimulating but also engage all our senses, leading to a more enriching and holistic understanding of our world.
