Let's start with customers, walk up to anyone hanging out at the store during the weekly complimentary Saturday wine tasting (11-5pm) and it's hard to to find someone who hasn't known Joe or been coming to the store for years, some customers up to 20 years, with lots of new customers getting introduced to and falling in love with the store weekly. You can thank the 6-8 complimentary wine tastings for that. Since day one, Joe has made it his mission to let customers "try before they buy...How else are they going to venture out an try new wines?" Laughingly replied Joe. Every member of Joe's team are passionate about wine and not there just for j-o-b. "When you have a team of people passionate about what they are doing, they are happy to come to work and talk to customers about their interest and choices in wine." The hardest thing for our team members is for them to shut up and stop geeking out when they find another customer who shares their love for Barolo, Chablis or sparkling Gamay."
