Spiced Apple Cake Our bakers take real Bramley apples (we find that nothing else creates such a satisfyingly moist cake) with their traditional English apple flavour and spice them up with fragrant cinnamon. The resulting soft, vegan sponge also has a creamy frosted middle and top for a touch of luxury. Perfect at tea time. VG
