Scott Hanson is a senior partner and founding principal of Hanson McClain Advisors, now known as Allworth Financial. In 2004, Hanson and Pat McClain founded Liberty Reverse Mortgage, which was later acquired by Genworth Financial and is now the largest reverse mortgage company in the country. An author and frequent guest columnist for national financial publications, Hanson is also the co-host of the long-running radio program Money Matters.
Pat McClain is a co-founder and senior partner at Sacramento retirement planning firm Hanson McClain Advisors, now known as Allworth Financial. A speaker at financial conferences and industry seminars nationwide, McClain has co-hosted Money Matters, one of the longest-running financial-topic radio programs in the country, for more than two decades. McClain was named to Barron’s list of the top 100 independent wealth advisers in America five times.

In 2005, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management hired David Fritz as managing director and complex manager. Based in downtown Sacramento, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management employs 12 local certified financial planners and 158 local credentialed advisers. J.P. Morgan & Co. founded Morgan Stanley in New York City in 1935; today the company employs nearly 60,000 people worldwide. Fritz graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he played lacrosse. After college, he joined the Marines Corps, working as an infantry officer for recruiting. A former captain in the U.S. Army, Shawn McElmoyl has worked for San Francisco-based Wells Fargo since 2002. In 2006, he was named regional manager of private client services in Northern Nevada. Today, McElmoyl is the regional managing director and senior vice president for Wells Fargo Wealth Management & The Private Bank. Based in Roseville, the company employs 17 local certified financial planners and 22 local credential advisers. The company’s primary services include wealth management and planning, trust and estate services, private banking and investment management. Robert Phillips oversees the strategic direction, fiscal stewardship and overall management of Alluma, a nonprofit company that leverages technology to improve access to health care and social services. He assumed the role of president and CEO in 2017, bringing more than two decades of experience in health policy, health systems, technology, philanthropy and strategic consulting to the position. Before joining Social Interest Solutions, Phillips worked at Kaiser Permanente, The California Endowment and Sierra Health Foundation. Other previous employers include PolicyLink, Service Employees International Union and the AFL-CIO.
