Roy Y. Gagaza

Roy Y. Gagaza serves as president and CEO of a retirement-focused financial firm with one location in California and two in Hawaii, where he helps individuals and families prepare for life after work with thoughtful, step-by-step strategies. He draws on his background in business marketing and many years of leadership to explain complex topics in clear language. He works to understand each client’s goals, family situation, and concerns so that plans can stay practical, understandable, and aligned with what matters most to them. Roy began his professional journey in the U.S. Army Reserve and later moved to active duty, serving more than twenty years as an armor officer. He became airborne-qualified and ranger-qualified, led a tank platoon during primary operations in the Middle East, and later commanded a cavalry troop overseas. He also served as an operations and training officer, preparing units from company through brigade level for deployment during key conflicts, and he earned the Bronze Star for his service. Gagaza started building his second career while still in uniform, using limited free time to meet with families, offer educational seminars, and study for professional designations in estate planning and financial consulting. He continued this effort even during a year-long deployment to Kuwait in 2004, slowly laying the groundwork for the practice he would later lead. After retiring from the Army in 2008, he chose to continue serving by helping people achieve financial clarity, stability, and a more confident retirement. Roy Y. Gagaza now focuses on retirement planning, investment and wealth management, tax planning, health care strategies, and legacy and estate services for his firm's clients. He has been recognized within his professional community through induction into a hall of fame, ongoing elite-advisor honors each year since 2018, and additional awards for reaching significant premium milestones.
