Roshanak “Roxanne/Roxy” Khadem is an Iranian-American mother, caregiver, and longtime Los Angeles resident whose life is defined by resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication to family. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, she immigrated to the United States in 1985 and built a new life through hard work, determination, and education, studying at Santa Monica College and California State University, Northridge. Fluent in English and Farsi, Roxy has spent much of her life supporting those around her, earning a reputation as someone who is intelligent, dependable, generous, and deeply caring. As a devoted mother, she worked tirelessly to provide opportunities, stability, and encouragement for her daughter while balancing the many challenges of life. Roxy has also served as a dedicated caregiver to her elderly mother through serious health challenges, reflecting her strong sense of responsibility, loyalty, and service. Her experiences as an immigrant, mother, daughter, and caregiver have shaped her perspective and strengthened her commitment to helping others. Today, Roxy is focused on faith, personal growth, healing, and creating a meaningful life centered on family, purpose, and compassion. Her story is one of perseverance, grace, and the belief that even through hardship, it is possible to rebuild, grow, and move forward with strength and hope.
