Roedean Day

It was wonderful to welcome ORs, former staff, and their guests back to Roedean for our first Roedean Day since 2019. Sadly the train strikes meant that many ORs weren’t able to attend who had planned to, but at least the sun shone for those that did make it!

In the morning there were options of watching the performance of Matilda, going on a tour of the school with a 6th Form student or visiting the Art Exhibition, before we all joined together in the Cloisters for a drink and group photographs. After lunch (either a picnic or a delicious buffet in the dining wing), a group went down the tunnel, whilst the rest of us went to watch Sports Day. Congratulations to the ORs and their guests who made up our OR team for the Golden Mile Relay Race – unfortunately they did come in our traditional last place, but they put up a good fight against the Staff, Parent and Student teams. We look forward to seeing even more of you next year – and particularly if you left in a year ending in a ‘3’ – do get in touch if you would like to help organise your year group reunion!
