Courtenay and Brandon met while attending their alma mater, the University of Kansas. Two years into their relationship, the couple planned a trip to New York City, New York. After a full itinerary of shopping and exploring the Big Apple, Brandon got down on one knee and asked Courtenay to marry him in Central Park. Courtenay and Brandon planned a bohemian desert wedding for September 5th.
