The moment Jake and Brent booked The Bishops’ House for their wedding location, they started to take inspiration from it to design their day. They also wanted to tell the story of their relationship, from long-distance to Australia together. They crafted a vintage travel theme with an eclectic and organic vibe. They used a color palette inspired by The Bishops’ House of greens, navy blue, white and brass.

The Theme:

The Wedding Day Look: “We’re more jeans and

t-shirt kind of guys, so we wanted to work with our stylist to create a whole day-of look. We had made-to-measure suits, which meant that we had freedom to choose the fabrics and key details like button holes, lapel widths, and stitching. It enabled us to have a tailored look but still cater to our individual personalities.” Brent chose something more traditional and Jake went with a more modern look.

The Flowers: Jake and Brent wanted to evoke an earthy, masculine and rustic feel in their design, so they chose a variety of succulents, eucalyptus, and other greenery with pops of white that turned out beautiful!
