Young, Hungry & Spotless

Danny Frede

“I have always worked in projects. That is why also my art has always the same themes but is not fixed to one medium. For my photographic works I make sure that they are technically perfect. High resolution and merciless. No filters, no retouching, no excuses. Every hair and all pores should be visible. At best, the photographs are finally so well arranged that you forget exactly that. Instagram has made photography “square” again and made us more “digital”. I want to take photos that don't get hearts and likes, but at best get banned.”
